Terms of Service

By accessing or using PeachLog ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service.

PeachLog is a social progress-tracking platform where users create projects, post logs with images and captions, and share their progress with the community. The Service includes features such as following other users, liking and commenting on projects, bookmarking, and receiving notifications.

You may register using an email address and password, or via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You must be at least 13 years old to use PeachLog. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@peachlog.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

You retain ownership of all content you post on PeachLog ("User Content"), including project descriptions, log captions, comments, and images. By posting User Content, you grant PeachLog a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

This license ends when you delete your content or your account. Deleted content is removed from the Service, though copies may persist briefly in backups.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you post, and that your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.

You agree not to use PeachLog to:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Post content that infringes on copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Spam, flood, or repeatedly post duplicate content
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically extract data from the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Post content that sexualizes minors in any way
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these guidelines, at our sole discretion.

PeachLog provides a reporting mechanism for users to flag content that violates these terms. We review reports and take action as appropriate, which may include removing content or suspending accounts. We are not obligated to monitor all content proactively.

PeachLog uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (hosted on AWS)
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in via Google account
• Vercel — application hosting and deployment

Your use of Google OAuth is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The PeachLog name, logo, design, and original content created by us are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We are not responsible for any User Content posted by other users. Use the reporting feature to flag content that violates these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeachLog and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruption.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PeachLog operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g. via in-app notice or email).
