Privacy Policy

PeachLog ("we", "us", "our") is a social progress-tracking platform available at peachlog.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and username. If you use Google OAuth, we receive your Google email address and profile name from Google.

Profile information: Display name, bio, avatar image, and social links you optionally provide.

Content you create: Projects (titles, descriptions, tags, goals), logs (captions and images), and comments you post.

Social activity: Follows, likes, bookmarks, and notifications generated by your interactions with the platform.

Usage data: Basic technical information such as the pages you visit and actions you take, used to operate and improve the Service. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your projects, logs, and profile to other users
• Power social features (feed, likes, comments, follows, notifications)
• Send transactional emails (email confirmation, password reset)
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent abuse and violations of our Terms of Service

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

The following information is publicly visible to all visitors of PeachLog:

• Your username and display name
• Your avatar and bio
• Your social links
• Projects, logs, and comments you post
• Your follower and following counts

The following information is never publicly displayed:

• Your email address
• Your password (stored as a secure hash; never in plain text)
• Which accounts you have linked (e.g. Google)

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which runs on AWS infrastructure. Images are stored in Supabase Storage in a public bucket — meaning uploaded images are accessible via URL by anyone who has the link.

The application is hosted on Vercel. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

PeachLog integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in. If you connect Google, we receive your Google email and name. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosting. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

PeachLog uses cookies solely to maintain your authentication session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

You have the right to:

• Access — view the information associated with your account at any time from your profile settings
• Edit — update your profile, username, email, and content at any time
• Delete — remove individual projects, logs, and comments, or delete your entire account and all associated data from your profile settings
• Export — contact us to request a copy of your data

Account deletion is permanent and removes all your projects, logs, comments, likes, follows, and profile data. Some residual data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being purged.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted from our primary database immediately. Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days.

Content you posted that was liked, commented on, or bookmarked by others — such as comments in a thread — may be anonymized rather than fully deleted to preserve the coherence of conversations.

PeachLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at hello@peachlog.app and we will delete the account promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via in-app notice or email.

Continued use of PeachLog after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
